The Check-In
Six steps, about two minutes. The record everything else works from.
Forge · The App
Write what happened. FORGE helps you see what keeps happening.
FORGE reads your words and answers them. Every entry becomes part of a record it draws on, so the longer you use it the more context it has. No paper required.
Three times this week, each one after a short night. That isn't temper. That's sleep.
A blank page would have recorded that sentence. It wouldn't have counted it.
Illustrative example.
The Gap
A journal holds what happened. It can't tell you you've written the same thing four times this month.
It doesn't remember the argument before this one. It doesn't notice your worst days keep following your shortest nights. It doesn't point out the win you've stopped giving yourself credit for.
The page fills up. The pattern stays hidden.
FORGE closes that gap.
You check in. It answers in your own words, keeps the record as it grows, then surfaces what keeps repeating.
Not advice from a stranger. Feedback built from your life.
One System
Whether you type into the app or write by hand in the FORGE Journal, you enter the same reflection system.
Stage One · The Check-In
A guided daily check-in. It takes less time than making coffee. It's the raw material everything else is forged from.
FORGE walks you through it so you're not staring at a blank box. Name it before it decides the day for you.
Type straight into the app, or scan the handwritten page if you keep the FORGE Journal. Both land in the same place. Neither is required for the other.
No feed. No followers. No performance. Just you and the work, locked to your account.
Stage Two · AI Reflection & Insight
FORGE reads the check-in you actually wrote, then answers it in the context of what you've logged before. You can reply. Your reply is saved against that day.
FORGE Reflection · Day 14
"Third time this week you've written 'tired' and skipped the gym after a late finish. The problem isn't the gym. It's what happens at 9pm. Fix the evening and the morning fixes itself."
That's the daily reflection. FORGE Insight goes wider, reading back across your record to surface what's easier to see over time than inside a single day. The stress that always spikes on the same day. The habit quietly slipping. The win you keep underrating. The longer you use it, the sharper it gets.

FORGE Reflection
Written from your own words
Shown here from a scanned FORGE Journal page. An entry typed straight into the app lands in exactly the same place.
Stage Three · Reset Tools
Guided breathing built into the app rather than a link out to someone else's video. Pick the pattern for the state you're in, whether that's pre-pitch nerves, post-conflict heat or a racing head at midnight.
One for the state you're in, whether you need to settle down or wake up.
Try It Right Here
This is box breathing, one of the patterns inside FORGE. Press begin, follow the metal.
More patterns inside the app, including chained sequences when one isn't enough.
Personalised Meditation
No library of stock tracks recorded for no one in particular. FORGE writes tonight's meditation from your mood, your energy and your own words, then voices it and plays it. If the day was pressure, the meditation knows. If the day was a win, it knows that too. Personalised visualisation works the same way, aimed forwards.
Whatever you wrote today is the raw material. The session meets you where the day left you.
It is not a script to read. It is a session to close your eyes to. Generated, spoken, done.
FORGE is for personal reflection and wellbeing. It isn't therapy, medical advice or a crisis service. Breathwork isn't for everyone: never practise it in water, in the shower or while driving.

There's more inside: timed writing, deeper reset sequences, a morning ritual and a library of short reads for the days a normal check-in isn't enough.
A blank page records the day. FORGE answers it. Each check-in becomes context for the next one, so what comes back is built from your own record.
Capture is the easy half.
The FORGE Journal is not in this table. It is the other half of the same philosophy, doing a different job on paper.
Inside The App
An AI journal app for men built around a daily check-in. FORGE writes a reflection from your own words, then draws on your record as it grows. Guided breathwork, generated meditation and visualisation are included.
FORGE is coming soon to iOS. Join early access on the community page and you'll hear the moment it lands.
There is no programme to finish. FORGE is built for ongoing use. Keep using it for as long as it earns its place. Only the paper journal runs to 90 days.
FORGE will be free to try when it launches on iOS. After that it is £7.99 per month for everything in the app. One tier. The physical FORGE Journal is a separate product at £14.99 on Amazon.
No. The app is a complete system on its own. Type your check-in directly and everything works. The FORGE Journal is its own complete product too. If you choose to use both, you can scan handwritten pages and get coached from your own handwriting. The bridge is optional. The philosophy isn't.
Yes. No feed, no followers, no social layer. Your entries are locked to your account. They're never sold.
FORGE launches on iOS first. Android is planned. Join the Built Not Born list and you'll hear when it lands.
The App
FORGE is finishing final device testing before App Store review. Early access members get first word and first access the day it clears.
Free to try at launch. Then £7.99/month.
